The course is a compulsory course for anyone under the age of 25 who is getting a driving license for the first time. This course MUST be completed before you can start taking driving lessons or driving at home privately.
Driving in the dark is part of the Basic Traffic Course
If you have not completed the dark driving demonstration, the right to practice driving will only be valid until the 31st of January of the following year. This will be evident in the basic traffic certificate.
Once the dark driving demonstration has been completed, there will be no time limit on the certificate.
This is a separate course for students over 25 years old.
Course duration: 4 teaching hours.
If you are under 25, the first aid course is included in the basic traffic course.
